 Nomination for Outstanding DOST Scholar's Award |

In conjunction with the DOST 50th Anniversary celebration to be observed in June 2008, recognition will be given to ten outstanding DOST Scholars who have made significant contributions to science and technology in their fields of specialization. They will be among the fifty (50) Men and Women of Science who will be honored during the DOST Gintong Sinag Awards Ceremonies in Malacanang.
DOST-SEI is in the process of inviting nominees who can be considered for the award. Each region can nominate at least ten DOST-SEI scholar-graduates.
For your guidance, a nominee must
1. be a DOST-SEI scholar-graduate;
2. be a Filipino citizen;
3. have worked in the Philippines for at least five (5) years; and
4. have distinguished himself/herself in his/her field of study.
For each nominee, the following requirements must be submitted:
1. Nomination letter;
2. Nominee's curriculum vitae;
3. Nominee's Service Record/Certification of Employment;
If entrepreneur, SEC registration or business permit;
4. Summary of nominee's significant accomplishments/contributions to S&T in the Philippines and abroad, with supporting cmm
If interested or know a DOST-SEI scholar-graduate who may be nominted, please email us the pertinent cmm not later than 28 March 2008.

Hi All,
I would like to check if anyone here who graduated a 5-year course tried to ask DOST how much the bond will be for us to work abroad? Or if you already have rendered 2 years of service, how much are we going to pay for our remaining 3 years of unrendered service?
